This page is dedicated with love to books, without which my very existence would be in question. I have been in amour of the written word my whole life, and as C.S. Lewis said, “You can never get a cup of tea large enough, or a book long enough, to suit me”.
The first book I ever loved was Winnie the Pooh and the Pebble Hunt
Almost every night, I begged mum to read it from start to finish with no skipping pages no matter how tired she was after work, even though I knew the whole story by heart. I highly recommend it to anyone with young children since it’s probably the reason I started reading by myself at an early age.
I practically devoured every book I could get my greedy little hands on and eventually graduated onto series like The Babysitter’s Club, Nancy Drew Mysteries, and the Harry Potter series of course. And over time I developed a taste for many different genres like mysteries, biographies, and non-fiction although my greatest interest lies in fantasy and historical fiction.
So it’s here that I’d like to share my passion with you and detail some of the works I’m currently reading.
